This is an awesome writeup. I find it really interesting that he was engaged with the WCC. Echoing Emre Kaplan, I really appreciate EA appreciating good people. Judgement is a very praiseworthy attribute.

I think animal welfare is much more cost-effective, my slight skepticism comes from the idea of positive feedback loops and the knock-on effects in other cause areas.

I think the collaborative fund is a great concept. This could be a great proof of concept for this style of giving, as well as one of the most impactful and exciting projects I've seen come out of EA recently.

I also really like the draft of asks. One note before I look more deeply, I really agree with Sam Hilton that pushing for cash benchmarking is a really good idea. I think that's something to highlight.
