Raised in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, I have been passionate about climate and nature from a young age. I studied nuclear engineering in college and was a submarine officer in the Navy for 5 years before starting my career in clean energy R&D.
As a Christian, I applaud the EA movement for carrying out Jesus' teaching to love our neighbors, bringing much-needed discipline and innovation to philanthropy.
I appreciate the commitment to rigor here! I'd be curious if there are any non-linearity or saturation effects of listenership on outcomes, or if that has already been analyzed in other studies.
Thanks for the great post! I read Thomas Ramge's Dimming the Sun last week and see SRM as an exceedingly neglected area of policy and research. My wife is reading it now, so I'm hoping we align on supporting this kind of work.
