Science help us in everyday life, providing all kind of devices and technologies.
Humanities do not help us in everyday life. People think there is no place for that. 
But when we make decisions it is about humans  - bad decisions mean we do not understand environment - human environment.
Who is studying human environment?
I suppose  that humanity scholars community is the only candidate.
If they are not ready for this role, let us help them by putting the question directly.
