For International Women’s Day, we would like to invite people of all genders to join us at Teamwork for a conversation about diversity, equality and inclusion in the EA community.
At 19:30, there will be a talk by Ekaterina Ilin. Ekaterina will share her experience as a mentee and mentor in various settings from the past eight years. She will explain how to find a mentor, what you can expect from them, and how women and genderqueer individuals in the EA community can particularly benefit from mentoring inside their own demographic.
Here's what we'll be doing:
- 19-19:30 Arrivals
- 19:30-20:00 Presentation and Q&A
- 20:00-21:00 Speed meetings and structured discussion
- 21:00 Open discussion and socializing
- 22:00 End of the event
We recommend arriving between 19 and 19:30, but you’re welcome to join for parts of the evening, if you prefer. The event will end by 22:00. There will be some vegan snacks and drinks.
Women's Day march
Earlier in the day we will join a march for Women’s Day starting at 11:30 at Oranienplatz.
