The Spanish-speaking AI Safety community (IAS) is hosting its first in-person event on Tuesday, April 28 in Madrid, Spain, organized by @Osmani with support from the EA Madrid community.

IAS has been running monthly online meetups sponsored by BlueDot Impact for several months now. This is the first time we're meeting in person, and we'd love to see anyone who happens to be in Madrid or nearby.

The programme:

• Be careful what you wish for: The risks of creating something smarter than us — David Bravo Comas (AI Safety Barcelona)
• Risks on the radar: Early signals from the evidence — Guillem Bas (Observatorio de Riesgos Catastróficos Globales)
• Open discussion, snacks and networking

The event is open to all backgrounds and audiences. The event will be held in Spanish.
