LANAIS was founded by Latin Americans who noticed a gap: while interest in AI Safety is growing across the region, efforts are often isolated, underfunded, or disconnected from the global conversation. We want to change that.
By creating a shared space for exchange and collaboration, LANAIS hopes to build a more cohesive Latin American presence in AI Safety—one that speaks with its own voice, grounded in its own context.
