Hello all,
This is my first post on the forum. I've been following the principles of Effective Altruism for a few months now and am trying to determine how I can best contribute.
My professional background is in digital marketing and data analysis, with [Your Number] years of experience, primarily focused on using data to understand trends and optimize performance.
I am now exploring career paths that can have a more significant positive impact. While I have reviewed the 80,000 Hours website, I was hoping to get some community perspective on my specific situation.
My question is: Given the community's current needs, what are considered the most high-impact opportunities for someone with a skillset in data analysis and online performance metrics?
I am open to all possibilities, including:
1. Skill-based volunteering for an EA-aligned organization.
2. Transitioning directly to a role in communications, fundraising, or operations.
3. "Earning to give" in my current field.
I would be very grateful for any insights, connections, or stories from others who have navigated a similar path.
Thank you

Also, guessing this is a typo? :)
