an Example. This seems important because if we say that x company/funder is part of the money base of the movement but not another, we implicitly give status and name recognition to the the agent who is part of the money base.

  1. Is it fair to say Givewell/GWWC is part of the EA movement but not all of the other global dev orgs that effectively have the exact same goals?
  2. If SBF starts the future fund, basically says he is a utilitarian/trying to do the most good/ a longtermist, but never alludes to the EA community in any way or hires people from EA, is FTX funds an EA org?
  3. If a billionaire explicitly says they are EA and starts a YIMBY org, and they say the org was created because of EA, is this an EA org?
