We’re a small remote scientific team working collaboratively with scientists and industry to use innovative and high-impact strategies for improving farmed animal welfare. We expect to grow the team in the coming months, so we’re looking for someone who can design our growth strategy and take charge of our operations, ensuring that the right leaders take ownership of outcomes. In this role, you’ll lay out a clear strategy for how to scale our programs and operations from 30K feet.
You’ll design and build teams and departments to carry out scientific/technical work and to support our internal operations.
You’ll lead our growth strategy and solve bottlenecks before they slow us down. You’ll also direct our operations and free up the senior leadership to focus on programs and fundraising.
The most important criteria is experience helping small organizations (e.g., startups) scale (ideally scientific/technical orgs). Those with experience scaling from a few employees to 10-20 are ideal.
We’ll need to work together in person in the United States. The selected candidate is willing to relocate to a major US city or travel frequently to work with leadership in person.
Fill out this quick form and we’ll follow up with additional information if we think you could be a strong candidate.
