In honor of International Women's Day, three of the women who make our safe water programming possible, Dorothy, Agatha, and Bhavani, share about their work in this piece.

Evidence Action is hiring for the following positions:

  1. Graduate Student Intern, New Program Development will assist in the development of potential new programs. The expected pay range for this internship is $24-$28 per hour.
  2. Associate, Nutrition will support our nutrition work in Africa and Asia. This role is remote, within the US. The expected pay range for this full-time role is $60,800 - 68,400 per year.
  3. Executive Vice President, Global Programs will provide executive leadership for a dynamic portfolio of large-scale, evidence-based global health and development programs. This role’s location is flexible. US-based pay range: $200,000 - $230,000.
  4. We are hiring two Program Leads for The AI Access Initiative, which is being incubated at Evidence Action. These roles will lead the design and execution of high-quality programs that harness frontier AI for large-scale impact in LMICs. This role is remote, within the US. Please note this role requires significant travel (~20-40%) to partner countries. Pay range: $150,000-$155,000.
  5. We are hiring two Program Managers for The AI Access Initiative to support the design, research, and execution of high-impact AI programs in LMICs. This role is remote, within the US and may require travel (~10-30%) to partner countries. The pay range is: $75,000 - $95,000.

Evidence Action is expanding Deworm the World to Tanzania, where we target reaching 10 million children. We will support the government in reshaping strategy to direct resources to the areas with the greatest need.

The dual HIV/syphilis rapid diagnostic test, the cornerstone of Evidence Action's Syphilis-Free Start program, has dropped to a record low price of $0.84. This is just $0.04 more than the HIV-only test. Procuring these key supplies will now be more accessible and sustainable for the countries that need them most.

Evidence Action is hiring for three positions:

  1. Executive Vice President, Global Programs will provide executive leadership for a dynamic portfolio of large-scale, evidence-based global health and development programs. This role’s location is flexible. US-based pay range: $200,000 - $230,000.
  2. Senior Program Manager, Syphilis-Free Start will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the current country portfolio. Location: remote within the United States. Expected pay range: $98,700 - $110,000.
  3. Associate, Global Operations will lead the hands-on coordination and implementation of many of our initiatives. Location: based out of our Washington, DC office. Expected pay range: $50,200 - $56,000.
