Founder and Co-Director of NISA, a registered NGO in Jodhpur focused on women's economic empowerment. My work sits at the intersection of grassroots development and systemic policy change. Background in social exclusion and inclusive policy, with experience in legislative research at the Indian Parliament. EA-adjacent thinker interested in cause prioritization, AI safety, and whether the EA framework can hold space for justice-oriented approaches without losing rigor. I'm vegetarian and a cinephile. I can speak English, Hindi, Russian and basic Spanish.

How others can help me

  • Connect me to mentors in AI safety/governance, especially those who transitioned from non-technical backgrounds.
  • Introduce me to founders or alumni of Charity Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurs First, or similar incubators.
  • Share feedback or intros on my plan to build a tech-enabled org focused on AI governance capacity in the Global South.
  • I'm open to high-impact operations or program management roles at EA-aligned organizations. Contract, freelance, or full-time considered.

How I can help others

  • Offer a grounded perspective on implementing programs in complex, low-resource, and culturally sensitive contexts in India.
  • Provide feedback on MEL frameworks, community needs-assessments, or operational systems for small NGOs.
  • Share my experience applying to competitive EA programs.
  • Chat about navigating a career pivot from grassroots development to longtermist/AI causes.
