GiveWell Hiring: Senior Communications Officers

We're hiring three Senior Communications Officers to build and lead our communications function. These roles will be the first of their kind at GiveWell, and we are and we are looking for exceptional leaders who can help establish GiveWell's communications practice and set the standard for how we operate across all channels.

Our Senior Communications Officers will:

• Own their functional area: messaging and narrative strategy (Strategic Communications), media presence and public engagement (Media & Public Affairs), or editorial quality and production (Editorial & Production)
• Partner with senior leadership and teams across the organization on major communications initiatives, helping build a more effective and scalable communications function that supports GiveWell's growth
• Play a key role in setting standards and managing complex communications work, advising on strategy, and engaging directly with external stakeholders and partners

For these Senior Communications Officer roles, we're looking for candidates with 10+ years of significant communications experience in their area of expertise and a track record of building or leading communications functions.
 

Details:

• Location: Remote-friendly
• Salary: NYC / SF Bay Area: $247,500 | All other US locations:  $225,000 | International: Custom based on location
• Benefits: Fully funded health coverage, 4 weeks PTO, 16 weeks parental leave, 403(b) with 5% employer contribution
