This month effective altruism has gotten lots of attention, including a cover story in The Economist. It feels pretty surreal to be on the receiving end of it. Matching Offer: EA Forum Donation Election Fund 2025
I'll personally provide an extra 10% match on the next $5,000 of donations made to the 2025 fund using the following link- https://donate.sirgiving.org/organizations/ea-forum-donation-election-2025?ref=WI9ZK3Z6 This is in addition to the platform matches from SIR Giving.
I'm the founder of SIR Giving which uses Every Org for all donation processing and distributions. Effective Ventures Foundation USA, Inc. for the EA Forum Donation Election Fund 2025 already uses Every Org, so these donations will flow through to the fund EXACTLY the same as if they were done directly with Every Org AND THEY WILL RECEIVE ALL SIR GIVING MATCHING REWARDS shown at https://www.sirgiving.org/
Mod comment: We verified that SIRgiving uses the every.org API. We haven’t checked anything further and can’t vouch for the matching offer or other claims.
Here are a few screen shots from my personal Every.org account which currently has $12,820.19 of Giving Credits available
