I am looking to develop branding and/or rebranding kit for an effective nonprofit for free. More below.
I am launching a startup called Shua. It is a neurobranding agency designed to help companies and effective nonprofits with branding strategy and rebranding. The focus is not exclusively on charities within the effective altruism sphere, but I hope EA organizations could benefit from it as well.
I will therefore select one EA organization in need of branding or rebranding and try to help with its branding needs.
Due to time constraints, I am currently able to provide this free service to just one organization. You can apply through the website. The only condition is that you are comfortable with being featured as a case study on the website.
Some examples of the work Shua could help with:
Unfortunately, I am unable to develop a complete visual brand book or logo for you, but I would be happy to work with your designer to set a direction for effective visuals.
I studied neuroscience and psychology at NYU, as well as psychotherapy at Cambridge. After graduation, I worked in operations and strategy for a few organizations within the EA space, worked at several startups, and completed a political technology fellowship at Newspeak House in London. I also studied branding theory and practice independently, drawing on neuromarketing and neuroscience.
Two years ago, I switched pretty much full-time to politics in my home country, Georgia, leading civic campaigns and strategy for our unified civil movement here. Recently, I moved from London back to Tbilisi. While I am working 60% FTE in politics, I wanted to use the remaining time to create something of my own that could also be useful to others.
I wanted to bring evidence-based methods from neuroscience, as well as an understanding of psychotherapy, into branding in order to develop brands that connect emotion with reason.
