The Center on Long-Term Risk (CLR) is a research institute focused on s-risks from emerging technologies.

History

CLR was founded in July 2013 as the Foundational Research Institute;[1] it adopted its current name in March 2020.[2] CLR is part of the Effective Altruism Foundation.
