The Giving Pledge is a campaign to encourage the world's wealthiest individuals and families to pledge the majority of their wealth "to address society’s most pressing problems." (Giving Pledge 2020) It was founded in 2010 by Bill Gates, Melinda Gates, and Warren Buffett. As of 2021, there are a total of 231 pledgers from 28 countries.
