EA NZ strongly disapproves of Manifund’s decision to hire Caroline Ellison. While we bear no ill will towards Austin or Caroline as individuals, placing a convicted fraudster in a role running a funding platform shows an egregious disregard for the risks and responsibilities involved. As a result, we will not be participating in or collaborating with any of Manifund’s projects for the foreseeable future. In the past, we have both received small amounts of funding and directed grants through Manifund’s platform, and found it to be a valuable service. However, we can no longer in good conscience endorse their work.
