TLDR: We should spread idea's to people taking a dump through a Page a Day calendar.

  • We're currently selling our ideas through books
  • Only a small percentage of people reads books
  • People seldom read books twice
  • People change primarily through consistency (e.g., daily habits)
  • Something everybody does on a daily basis, is taking a dump
  • When I'm taking a dump, I'm doing nothing in particular
  • We should try to get our ideas across, when people taking a dump

We should make a PAGE A DAY CALENDAR where people will get 365 pages of EA content (through stories, vegan recipes and cartoons), where they can tear off one page daily. It's low-cost, low-key (if it includes cartoons), easy to use as a small present and it might suit a great public.

Inspired by this vid, from the timestamp until 15:00 (rest is worthwhile too though) https://youtu.be/Eqcdb8kpujI?t=11m50s

Sounds like something @Hamish Doodles could do (if they were interested / thought this was sufficiently worthwhile)

I'm not not interested in this idea.

I think the hard part would be coming up with ideas and writing copy for the calendar. Illustrations are time consuming but straightforward (and fun), and there are probably plug-and-play services for manufacture and distribution.

One project I'm working on is compressing EA-related material into tweet form (eg), and a curated selection of these could form the backbone of the copy.

I've made a note in my calendar on September 1 next year to revisit this idea and see if I've got enough raw material for put something together for 2024.

If someone else wants to participate (writing, ideas, illustrations, or even accountability check-ins), DM me or leave a comment and this'll be much more likely to happen.
