I tend to think there are already tons of lists of important reading out there, and I'm not sure an EA-specific one would be particularly novel. It might be more valuable to add small summaries of these references on Wikipedia where they aren't already present, since reading a summary on Wikipedia is much faster than reading the entire original article. Doing it on Wikipedia also helps avoid reinventing the wheel if someone else has already written a summary.
