Intro to Cyberbiosecurity

Kathryn Millet at Biosecure Ltd will be giving an introduction to the emerging field of cyberbiosecurity. This field is about maintaining cybersecurity for the purpose of biosecurity. The content will be simple enough for beginners at a high school level to understand. 

Some topics covered include: 

• Why emerging cyberattack techniques and the democratisation of biotechnology is increasing cyberbiosecurity risk.
• Why we need to focus on promoting cybersecurity and biosecurity for bioweapons in today's age. As compared to naturally-occuring biological diseases.
• Next steps for those interested in diving deeper into the field.
