Hello! My name is Emil Svenberg. I'm currently finishing my bachelors degree in Logic, Philosophy and Mathematics at Stockholm University. I'm currently writing about Chalmers article "The Singularity, a philosophical analysis", and focusing a lot on the premise whether the human mind is machinistic. I am however interested in almost all branches of philosophy and formal logic, I'm willing to discuss them if anyone is interested! But I'm the most interested in formal epistemology, decision theory, philosophy of physics, philosophy of mind, foundations of mathematics/computation, philosophy of logic and of course philosophy of AI. I'm into EA because I think most of their cause areas follow from Boströms astronomical waste argument. I'm also currently working half-time for an non-profit organization "föreningen för digital demokrati" which works on finding new ways of making organizations more rational. We're currently developing a tool that combines liquid democracy (a kind of direct democracy where individuals  post proposals, can vote directly on them, but can also choose to delegate their votes to others) and prediction markets (people predict on the outcome of proposals, better predictors have a stronger prediction score in the aggregate, which leads to better predictions over time). I primarily work as a web developer, but has also worked as a theoretician (social choice theory specifically). We believe that more democracy --> more cooperation --> decreased existential risk
