The Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA) at UC Berkeley hosts a large annual conference every year in the Bay Area. This year, we'll explore the role that new technologies — from hardware innovations to advancements in digital data and service delivery platforms — have played in improving outcomes for people experiencing poverty, noting key wins, as well as inherent limitations and trade-offs.
We've invited a mix of researchers, public and private sector experts, and funders to debate the role of technology in designing, targeting, and measuring effective and inclusive responses to global poverty. This event is free and open to the public.
