Hi! The last few years I've been giving money directly to poor people in Kenya and was wondering if anyone else is doing the same. I've found it works reasonably well to search on Jiji for people looking for low-wage work and then get in contact with them via WhatsApp and eventually send them money using WorldRemit. I've build some pretty amazing relationships and it's provided an unbeatable insight into global poverty as well as just being incredibly fulfilling. Anyone else doing the same?
