Hi All, I’m an entrepreneur hugely passionate about AI safety and welfare (and how those overlap).
Having spoken with Gergő and a few others at Sentient Futures Summit recently it’s clear to me many EA/AIS orgs are applying for the same, highly competitive, pools of funding. As founder of GrantTree (£600M funding raised for 2,000 orgs in last 16 years) I’d like to help bring visibility to other sources of funding some of you may not be making the most of.
If you are a limited company (investing into R&D in frontier AI space (or affiliated with one) it’s highly possible you could tap into Innovate UK, Catapult funding and R&D tax credit scheme. Since my company specialises in this, I’d be delighted to offer a free funding review to anyone in this space. (For transparency: if you engage us to help with actual applications, there’s advisory fee involved as I employ over 20 people on full salaries.)
I invite founders/CFOs of any existing frontier AI companies who would like to connect to ping me on paulina@granttree.co.uk, or LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/paulinatenner
PS. Here’s more on recent legislation update on R&D tax credits for AI companies

PPS. Pic is of my team and yeah, AI was indeed consulted :)
