Existential Choices: Reading List
I've put this reading list together for Existential Choices Debate Week (March 17 - 23). The posts cover topics such as: How can we model improvements to the entire future? How valuable should we expect the future to be? Can we reduce the chance of a suffering-focused future? Are there persistent positive states we can direct the world towards?
All of these topics are helpful for developing a view on the debate statement:
"On the margin, it is better to work on reducing the chance of our extinction than increasing the value of futures where we survive". If you want to find out more about the debate week, how to get involved, or what precisely we will be discussing, read our announcement post.
