Has anyone seen a good list/presentation/data
- of individuals and organizations
- that are funded by EA-aligned or adjacent donors, foundations and charities
- that do a substantial amount of research (and are significantly funded to do this)
- (ideally) with the amounts of funding for (spend on) this research
?
I recall seeing this before but I can't find it. I did a presentation related to this a while back, but that's incomplete and out-of-date.
Organizations like Future of Humanity Institute, Global Priorities Institute, Rethink Priorities, GiveWell, Animal Charity Evaluators, Machine Intelligence Research Institute, Founders Pledge.
Wanted to try to source such a list (or related resources) before I work to reconstruct this on my own. (Considering using this for The Unjournal's potential plan to commission the evaluation of at least one piece of research from each organization.)
