Why Zero should be a symbol and not a number

We’re all taught that zero is a number. But I've realized that treating "nothingness" as a mathematical object actually breaks our understanding of reality. When you realize that 0 + 0 = 0 is a physical fiction (you can't add two absences together), it completely changes how you view logic, existence, and the boundaries of human comprehension. I wrote a breakdown of how our logic systems are flawed and how fixing them actually points us toward a deeper truth about the cause of everything.

Before you read, a quick clarification so my premise isn't misunderstood: I am not arguing that we should remove zero from mathematics. Zero is absolutely essential as a positional placeholder (like in the number 105) and as a symbol to mark an empty boundary.

My argument is that the moment we treat zero as an active, operational integer, something you can perform an action on, like addition or multiplication, we create a logical illusion that detaches math from physical reality. This doesn't mean math can't still operate as an abstract system when needed. It simply means that by redefining zero, we ensure that when math does need to connect back to the physical world (like in word problems), it actually makes sense instead of creating contradictions as will be explained in my posts. However, I do wish to point out that skim-reading will cause you to misunderstand my points, so while it might feel like I'm some random nobody who doesn't have any clue what they're talking about, if you're going to debate me, please first do your research.
