PauseAI US is planning our biggest event of the year – and we’d love to invite you to apply! If you're interested in learning effective grassroots lobbying tactics, meeting with your elected officials to discuss AI risk and policy, and connecting with our volunteer base across the country, we want to see you there.

What: PauseCon 2026, our first-ever nationwide conference on grassroots lobbying.

Where: Washington, D.C.

When: April 11-14, 2026

Why: To prevent AI from destroying the world, learn how to make political change, and have fun while doing so.

Application Deadline: February 20, 2026.

More about PauseCon US:

Attendees of PauseCon US 2026 will connect with other PauseAI volunteers from across the country, learn the best practices of political change, and meet with their Congressional offices right in our nation’s capital.

The deep-dive workshops during PauseCon will cover how to make political change, including best practices of meeting with Congress, building grassroots support, demanding policy action, and more.

Participants will then meet with all of their Congressional offices (House and Senate) to bring our policy proposals directly to the people who need to hear it the most.

And we’ll cap off the event with our largest demonstration ever, taking place right outside the U.S. Capitol Building.

Apply by our first-round application deadline of February 20. We hope to hear from you soon!
