Centre for the Governance of AI

The Centre for the Governance of AI (GovAI) is an AI governance research center.

History

GovAI was founded in 2018, as part of the Future of Humanity Institute. In June 2021, it became an independent organization.[1]

Evaluation

As of May 2022, GovAI has received around $3 million in funding from Open Philanthropy.[2]
